There's plenty of jobs out there as the warmer weather approaches, including hospo work in our favourite local spots around Adelaide. Read on to see some of the opportunities on offer.

Our city has plenty of jobs up for grabs this month, especially those hospo gems of pouring beers and pumping out coffees, but restaurants are also crying out for kitchen and front of house staff.

Marys in the Park 

Adelaide’s new pride and pop music festival Mary’s in the Park, run by the crew behind Adelaide’s LGBTIQ+ Club Mary Poppins, is looking for front of house, bar and site staff at the festival in Adelaide’s eastern parklands in November.

Bar staff are wanted for November 4 and 5, front of house staff for November 4, and site staff from November 1-8.

Cielo

Do you like to bake? Cielo, Adelaide Arcade’s artisan tearoom and patisserie, is searching for a baker and pastry chef.

You must have baking and pastry cooking experience, ideally baking viennoiserie and sourdough.

Front of house workers are wanted at Yolk café in Walkerville.

Weekend availability is required, and experience in a fast-paced and busy café, enthusiasm, and barista skills are ideal.

Longplay Bistro

New, modern European restaurant Longplay Bistro, is looking for staff both inside and outside the kitchen to both serve and command as it opens on Pirie Street.

If you like a kitchen, you could apply for the junior sous chef, CDP apprentice and kitchen hand jobs, but if you want to be out front with the customers there are jobs as venue manager, wine professional, wait staff, and bartender.

The bistro also needs a motivated and experienced restaurant manager to join its opening team.

Adelaide Fringe Festival

The Adelaide Fringe is looking for a Production Coordinator who is a creative and organised team player, with project management experience for the 2023 festival. They will coordinate the installation, maintenance, and de-installation of the Fringe’s temporary box offices, and roll out other Fringe events.

Tertiary qualification in arts production and theatre technician experience is a plus.
