Today, Format Systems opens silent bidding on a collection of art worth upwards of $20,000 – donated by high profile names like Gerry Wedd, Tom Moore and Roy Ananda to name a few – ahead of what we can only assume will be a VERY LOUD AUCTION on Friday night.

Format Systems is the Artist Run Initiative (ARI) that keeps on keeping on: Birthplace of Renew Adelaide and the very first “small venue” on Peel Street that helped create the special bar license before being evicted. Format isn’t everyone’s cup of tea (they mostly serve fruity lexia) but they’re an important part of what makes the city tick.
