Mark Kamleh and Nick Stock’s archipelago-inspired event Refreshment Island, which sits under the Wine Country party banner, will this time showcase wines made for parties: If it fizzes, it will be available for sipping.

This will include Champagne, local sparklings, petillant naturel (aka the wine of the moment) and some other bubbly international variations.

Ausralian producers on show include Deviation Road, Frederick Stevenson, Chandon, Daosa, Hills Collide, Dal Zotto, Quartz Reef, Alpha Box & Dice, Palmetto and Moorak.

For those wanted to get thoroughly involved in the Champagne spectrum, there will be Larmandier-Bernier, Veuve Clicquot, Pol Roger, Louis Roederer, Taittinger, Moët & Chandon, Pierre Gimmonet, Laherte Frères, J-M Sélèque and Ayala.

And there are still more yet to be announced.

Once again, the party will take place on the city’s Murlawirrapurka Rymill Park island, surrounded by trees, with music provided by live deejays.

On the food front, Low & Slow will be doing all the delicious things we’ve come to expect from them.

The weather promises lots of sun, but Wine Country will ensure plenty of pours.
