A beloved Father’s Day tradition returns after a two-year hiatus: Dad Blues.

Max Savage, Carla Lippis and Hana and Jessie-Lee come together to bring a foot-stomping, hip-shaking afternoon of rock and roll, soul and blues to the Lion Arts Factory on Sunday, 4 September.

Max Savage brings howling, gravelly-voiced fury to the music of Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters and BB King. Carla Lippis is the undisputed queen of antipodean rock and roll, with a voice that manages to straddle heart-aching purity and stand-and-deliver power. Hana and Jessie-Lee’s honky tonk roadshow makes its way across the border from Victoria for the first time in far, far too long.

Founded in 2018, Dad Blues is a family-friendly music event that lets dads of all stripes let their hair down with the very best in Australian blues and soul music.
