Have you ever wanted to cycle through the city with a convoy of Santa Clauses?

If so, an opportunity – and tbh probably the only opportunity – has presented itself.

Sustainable transport business EcoCaddy regularly hosts scheduled night rides through the city, inviting cyclists to travel on Adelaide’s lesser-known but no less interesting paths as part of a group. (They also launched an app for the lone wolves who want to go it alone).

Tonight’s pencilled-in journey has some added Christmas spirit.

“We will be dressing up in Santa suits for this ride,” the Facebook page says, inviting the public to participate. “The more the merrier.”

The pandemic may have taken away a lot of things from us this year, but it can’t steal our mirth. So don’t be a Grinch, grab your helmet and be a part of the spectacle of cycling Saint Nicks.
