It’s not often a whole wine region relocates to the CBD, giving punters a rare and super convenient opportunity to explore almost its entirety in a weekend.

The McLaren Vale Winter Wine Markets promises two days of wine, food, music and good times, with over 40 of the region’s premium wine, beer and spirits makers taking part.

Ticket holders can enjoy complimentary tastings, a souvenir glass to keep and the chance to chat with the makers in a buzzy, fun atmosphere. Drinks can also be purchased by the glass and by the bottle to take home.

Of course, food is an integral part of the state’s wine regions. So, expect a selection of delicious regional specialties from the chefs of the Salopian Inn, Silver Sands Beach Club and the McLaren Vale Hotel.

For those who fancy making an entire weekend of it, the 2-day Party Animal pass offers a hefty discount on the price. Plus, there’s a $10 Designated Driver/U18 ticket, so everyone can attend.
