In 2015 we said Felicity Townsend was one art student to watch. And here we are now, still encouraging you to watch on as she launches her career as an artist.

Townsend, who is a current Honours student in Visual Arts at Flinders University and Adelaide College of the Arts, will present her first solo exhibition, Verge, at Glitch Experimental Art Space next Wednesday.

Through installation, new media, and paper works, the work will deal with notions of transition and change. She hopes that ” Verge takes us to the margins of the known to interact with the tensions of existing in two places at once.”

In November 2016 Felicity completed a three month artist residency with Estudio Nòmada in Barcelona, and the art she created and exhibited there will also be exhibited at Verge.
