More info

Organised by the City of West Torrens and the Wheatsheaf Hotel, the free event is billed to include sounds from afro-beat orchestra The Shaolin Afronauts, frenetic Latin outfit Ah Hum!, and big brass ensemble the Thomas Voss Band – plus others – across three stages.

All your favourite Wheatsheaf Brewing Corps beers will be on-tap across the four festival bars, as well as a couple of new favourites: a Thebartonia Golden Ale (with all proceeds from the first four kegs donated to the Country Fire Service) and a tasty Ich Bin Ein Berliner, Cuz Berliner Weisse, which will both debut on the day.

Local producers Imperial Measures Distilling and Ambra Liqueurs will also be in attendance for all your liquor needs, via the outdoor bar.

The food truck lineup is also stacked, featuring wood-fired pizza by El Diablo, Filipino street food by 27 Filipino Street, Sri Lankan barbecued goods by Soza’s, grilled meats by Smokin’ Bones Barbecue, and treats from L’Arome Catering, TacoCat and Daisy Burger.

For those looking for other things to do, there will also be a Single Club Disco tent, where single records will be played in an “intimate setting,” a Gallery West Thebarton Painting workshop, plus a ceramics stall.

For more information on what other workshops are available visit the event page. For those who want to be involved without leaving their house, the event will also be broadcast live on Three D radio.
