InDaily spoke with Gov co-owner Melissa Tonkin about bringing bands back into the venue, and she detailed the 75-person-capped gigs in the main room, as well as a series of even more intimate gigs in the Gov’s restaurant.
These very special gigs will see the venue host 20 people and a couple of bands Thursday through Sunday.
On the lineup for this Saturday, 20 June is Adelaide rock quartet The Vains, who will headline the limited-seat show, with “dark folk” outfit Ghost Thief in support. (Readers might recognise some of the Ghost Thief crew as co-founders of music streaming platform Sunny Side Uploads.)
If you’ve been itching to head out and support the live music industry irl, this is your chance.
