The Public Servants, who are Frank N Fearless (guitar and vocals), Indi Pendent (drums and vocals), Beau Racrat (bass and vocals) and Linda from HR (vocal harmonies), will officially launch their debut full-length album, Code of Misconduct, on luxurious brown vinyl, on Friday, 16 June at the Hotel Metropolitan.

The band will also have support from Adelaide’s most fun Aussie-Celtic folk rockers, The Backyarders.

Humour is an important part of The Public Servants’ music and shows, with the band’s songs telling stories most office workers can relate to.

The album opens with ‘Blend 43’ – a coffee staple in many a workplace.

‘Papercut’ is a song almost everyone can relate to.

Have you ever considered going on stress leave? There’s a song for that.

‘Bored’ is a song about being bored at work.

‘Company Time’ is a song about workplace inequality, biorhythms, and getting paid to poo. Maybe you know somebody who’s living the dream on the old public service pension scheme.

The penultimate track explains why it’s unethical to work past 4pm on Friday, – a time at which tradition clearly states the weekend has begun.

And on the final track, for a Barry White meets Isaac Hayes with Flexitime Sexytime, prepare yourself for ‘BOW CH*CKA WHA WOW!’
