There are just two sessions of The Maker & Me – The Fruitful Pursuit’s intimate weekly wine tasting event – left for the year, and in tonight’s event attendees will be treated to two hours with Vanguardist’s Michael John Corbett.

The winemaker will offer the crowd a deep dive into grenache, beginning with a La Petite Vanguard rosé pet-nat, followed by a slight detour into mourvédre, before then digging into bottles of grenache dating back to 2015.

There will be four 2020 wines on show, two under the La Petite Vanguard label again, as well as two barrel samples from the Vanguardist label, giving you a pre-bottling look into what is to come.
