The Golden Wattle turns 5 on the 1st of October.

From an idea amongst good friends it has grown to be Australia’s Number 1 Car Park Pub 2018-2023.

Cranking out great food and booze the GW has forged a place in Adelaide’s collective heart for genuine service and great vibes.

To celebrate this momentous occasion a party will be thrown and music must be played.

We invited Melbourne/Naarm post punk giants Pinch Points, kindly asked old mates Adelaide dolewave legends Old Mate to reform for a one off gig, said “hey Ricky does Bigtown wanna play to bring the big hits”, he said yes thankfully, and then threw out the invite to our old buddy Billy Gardner to bring his new band The Toads to round out the party.

It shall be bangin and backs will be slapped.
