SWOP the Seams runway event

SWOP Clothing Exchange owner, Emily Sheahan, and local seamstress, Natalie Ivanov, have spent months developing their collaborative clothing collection, SWOP the Seams.

The runway will take place at The Mill. Seats have sold out, however, standing spots will be available on the night for walk-ins.

If you’re not up to speed on the thing, click here. We wrote a story about it last week.

The Runway event will celebrate the launch of the collection, and invite a local audience to be a part of Fashion Revolution.

Both models from Rin Models and a sample of the public (a handful of “regular Swoppers”) will model the clothes, while locals Krish Barton and Sharmonie Cockayne will be styling the show. The Soda DJ’s will also be behind the decks.

The night will begin when the bar opens at 6.30pm, though the runway will kick off at 8pm. All garments and jewellery will be available to purchase until the bar closes, which, FYI, is 11pm.
