Sustainable House Day Showcase

The Sustainable House Day Showcase takes place on Friday September 9 and Saturday September 10 at The Joinery – 111 Franklin Street, Adelaide. More information can be found here.

Because just one day of sustainable housing can surely not be enough to answer all your questions, the Adelaide Sustainable Building Network in partnership with Recycled Interiors & The Sustainable Home Hub are planning a two-day lead-in to this year’s Sustainable House Day.

While Sustainable House Day is on Sunday (September 11), the two organisations have events planned on the Friday and Saturday prior to get you warmed up.

A Friday Night Sociale and a Mini Expo on Saturday will both take place at The Joinery. The ticketed Friday night event will feature the architects, designers, builders and owners who have created sustainable houses around the state, giving attendees a chance to hear about the projects before selecting which house to visit on Sunday.

Saturday’s program presents South Australian suppliers of sustainable materials and technologies, as well as topical panel sessions spread throughout the day.

Then, of course, there’s all the sustainable houses to go and visit on Sunday. Weekend sorted.
