As part of our 2022 Festival Edition, we asked our colleagues at InReview to nominate some artists they think we shouldn’t miss this festival season.

Freelance writer and regular InReview reviewer Jane Llewellyn gave us some tips in the genre of visual arts, including Laura Wills, whose work will be on show as part of Spur 2022.

Here are Jane’s words:

Laura Wills is a multi-disciplinary artist who often collaborates with other artists in the creation of site-responsive and participatory works which explore our connection to nature. While the discipline of drawing is what underpins her practice, she pushes the boundaries by experimenting with digital drawing into maps, drawing in installation works, and projected light drawing for live performances.
