Sister Gallery Opening + two exhibition launches
The gallery will launch on Saturday 18 February from 6-9pm, at 26 Sixth Street, Adelaide.
Fontanelle Gallery has been hijacked by Sister Gallery in the best way possible and, this Saturday, they’re throwing a party to celebrate.
The night will also serve as the opening of Sister’s first two exhibitions, Optimal Prime Time and In The Garden.
Optimal Prime Time will showcase South Australian artists, Alex Degaris-Boot, Madison Bycroft, Alex Perisic, Grace Marlow, Isabella Mahoney and Nerissa Kyle. Together, they “represent exciting developments and current tendencies in contemporary art within a global context.”
In The Garden, supported by Novus Res, is a 360° video work by emerging artist and film maker, Gilbert Kemp Attrill, that explores intimacy, proximity and our perception of space.
Besides good art and good vibes, the event also promises to feature a range of local beer, wine and a home-style snack menu delivered by Christopher and Ashleigh D’Antonio-Hocking that includes pies, calzones, toasties, fresh salads and sharing plates.
