Local artist, designer, storyteller, illustrator and art director Daniel Purvis launches a solo photographic exhibition at Tooth and Nail gallery today.

Using photography as a medium for personal journalism, Daniel has created a collection of photos that highlight people, architecture, light, details, structure, and dogs as discovered subjects. Complementing the images will be a selection of text, prerecorded audio narration and sound for place-making and contextual explorations.

A super-limited edition art book, Shield, which combines a photographic series by Daniel with the poetry of Gemma Boyd will also be available as part of the exhibition.
