As part of SALA, ACE is inviting the public to come and see the upstairs studio spaces.

Head up and visit ACE’s current Studio Program artists, Ash Tower, Chelsea Farquhar, Cecilia Tizard, Dani Reynolds and Shaye Dương.

It is a unique and special opportunity to preview the artists’ work for the upcoming ACE exhibition, Studios: 2022.

Keira Simmons will perform live at the event, and refreshments from Charlotte Dalton Wines and Bowden Brewing will be available to purchase at the bar.

Allison Chhorn’s Skin Shade Night Day artist book will also be launched at the event. The book was made in collaboration between the artist and designer Tyrone Ormbsy (Person Books), and is made of Japanese paper, mirroring the translucent material of shade cloth – both partially covering and protecting the subjects underneath.

Ace’s Open Studios event is free to attend – drop in any time between 12pm and 5pm.
