The very talented Jelena Vujnovic has been holed up at Nexus Multicultural Arts Centre for the last few months as artist in residence, and this show reveals what she’s been working on there.

In a series of works exhibited under the name “Nothing is Lost” Jelena’s layered, other-wordly yet familiar aesthetic has been deployed to capture one of the biggest and most important themes of the human psyche. Exploring how past experience filters our interpretations of the present, the pieces are a mix of installation, painting and drawing that fill out the Nexus gallery space.

The exhibition opening includes soundscape collaborations from Joy Sparkes and DEAFAULT and a speech from Gregory Donovan.
