Natural Wreath Workshop
If you, like we at CityMag, spend every Christmas staring at your sad and unadorned front door, wishing you only had the know-how to construct a botanical wreath from a combination of foraged plant matter and your interminable holiday spirit, rest assured – this September you have the opportunity to learn to bundle and weave with the best of them.
Natural Wreath Workshop
Saturday, 4 September
Commune of Buttons Winery
828B Lobethal Road, Basket Range 5138
Tickets and more info
This is surely not the correct terminology, but at the Natural Wreath Workshop, hosted by Emma Sadie Thomson, Beclu Flowers and Tjikko Floral Design at Commune of Buttons‘ Basket Range property, you’ll not only learn the lingo, but the technical skills to create a wreath of your own.
Over the course of the three-hour workshop, attendees will be taken on a short walking tour of the Commune of Buttons property for inspiration, before then being guided through the process of creating a wreath from foraged and dried materials.
The resulting wreath will be able to be hung in your home for “years to come”.
The ticket price also includes a glass of wine and lunch, offering a well-rounded Adelaide Hills outing.
