Montaigne will sing at a free FIFA Fan Festival™ at Festival Plaza this Friday night, 11 August, to wrap up the first day of the quarter finals matches.

What began as a young high school songwriters ambition, turned into a finalist in the Triple J Unearthed competition. This was the start of Montaigne’s journey as an artist.

Montaigne has a bustling career and has made a commendable name in the Australian music industry. She was Australia’s representative in Eurovision in 2021 and has an ARIA Platinum certified single being ‘Because I Love You’.

This Friday, Montaigne will bring her unique artistry to a free concert for the FIFA Fan Festival™ at Festival Plaza in Adelaide/Tarntanya.

However, what connected Montaigne to the opportunity to perform at the FIFA Fan Festival was her strong family ties to the sport itself.

Montaigne’s father was a former professional player in the Australian National Soccer League.

“Football is close to my heart thanks to my father and to be able to perform as part of this incredible FIFA Women’s World Cup is something I’m truly grateful to be able to do,” Montaigne says.

“See you all on Friday night at the FIFA Fan Festival.”
