Sometimes you just need a quiet wander, and wonder, during the pre-Christmas madness. And the Christmas Tree Trail at the Myer Centre is the perfect place to do it.

Spot the wooden Christmas trees spread out across all levels, decorated with art from 16 local schools. It’ll take you back to your own childhood days of handmade decorations and doing special projects.

Making it all extra joyful, the trees for this lo-fi, happiness-filled trail were supplied by the blokes at the Australian Men’s Shed Association in Parafield.

Stop in on your lunch break and be sure to vote for your favourite tree. There’s a $200 toy pack up for grabs for voting, and a $300 games and books pack for the winning school.

It’s sure to make everyone feel merry and bright!
