Join McLaren Vale’s winemakers to celebrate the region’s world-class Grenache and Grenache-blends through a fortnight of curated tastings, masterclasses, dining experiences and more.

McLaren Vale’s inaugural Grenache & Gourmet kicks off this September. The neighbourhood is inviting guests from near and far to celebrate the drop in its favourite way – with a sumptuous meal and a glass of world-class wine.

The two-week-long wine celebration, programmed to include exceptional food and tourism experiences, will launch on 16 September to coincide with International Grenache Day. The festivities will run through to the Labour Day Long Weekend, 1—3 October.

Patrons should expect more than 35 diverse and exciting Grenache-themed dining, tasting, educational and nature experiences, allowing all the opportunity to learn why James Halliday calls the grape variety “McLaren Vale’s secret weapon”.
