In months and years to come, it is likely partygoers will talk of the East End Block Party 2023 in that “you should have been there” tone made husky by too much booze, blues and excitable yelling.

East End Block Party 2023
East Terrace, Vardon Avenue, Rundle Street block
21 October 2023

So, best to clear one’s calendar now for the wild, rambunctious 10-hour party that awaits.

Like a holy quaternity of good times harbingers, Sydney’s Ramblin Rascal Tavern, NOLA Adelaide, Bowden Brewing and The Stag Public House are taking over Adelaide’s East End to deliver the party to end all parties.

Ably supported by local god, Sam Brittain of Sliding Door Productions, they’ve pulled together a stellar line-up of live local acts across three indoor and outdoor stages in Vardon Lane and upstairs at The Stag.

Fuelling all that rock’n’roll and blues will be signature drinks and snacks from each of the bars. Think NOLA’s iconic fried chicken and tater tots for starters.

Look out for Bowden Brewing’s YEET rave cave, hidden by a lemonade stand.

And go easy on the whoop-whopping during the bands’ sets. You’ll need your vocal cords when you cram into the front bar for the late-night singalong.

It’s going down on 21 October from 3pm until late in the night.
