Mabo Screening
We are currently in the midst of National Reconciliation Week, which runs from May 27 to June 3.
The screening will take place on Saturday June 3, at 6.30pm.
Braggs Lecture Theatre, North Terrace, The University of Adelaide.
This year’s Reconciliation Week is a particularly special one, as 2017 marks the 50 year anniversary of the 1967 Referendum and the 25 year anniversary of the Mabo decision.
In recognition, the Don Dunstan Foundation, in collaboration with Reconciliation SA (and Finders University, The University of Adelaide, BHP Billiton and the South Australian Government Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation Division) will be hosting two special film screenings – one of which is ‘Mabo‘.
The ‘Mabo’ screening, which will take place on June 3, will include guest speakers and refreshments.
Entry is by gold coin donation – much of which will support the Don Dunstan Foundation and Reconciliation South Australia’s Kokoda Track Reconciliation Trek.
