In her upcoming Incubator residency, Mirning artist and Flinders University academic Ali Gumillya Baker will collaborate with First Nations writers, educators, researchers and artists to explore place, ceremony and how to deal with intergenerational grief and loss through the living archive of Country.

The multidisciplinary artistic and research project will include video, live performance, writings and site-specific public art, influenced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander scholarly research and artistic practice, Indigenous multidisciplinary and Black feminist work.

An artist talk with Ali on Friday evening will offer an opportunity to explore the foundations of this new work.
