The Local Collective
In the same vein as Bowerbird Bazaar, The Local Collective is a curated retail market in an airy warehouse location.
The Local Collective will be held at the Published Arthouse at 11 Cannon Street, Adelaide on the 17 October from 11am to 5pm.
Where it differs, perhaps, from Bowerbird though is its attempt to put less birds on things and engage 50/50 with men and women shoppers. We’re not entirely sure what this will look like but from the lineup of stall holders we’re kind of getting the picture that there’ll be less cute and more cool.
Sticking with the local theme from the market’s title, each stall is a local business. What they’ll be hawking ranges from clothing by Fools & Trolls, Restless Socks and Yeo Haus to homewares by Hello Little Walnut, Stitcharooney and Jem & Romes. Homewares and clothes and new vinyl records, art and of course quality food and beverages. How handsome!
