What's On

Henri Matisse x Studio Vino x Popeye

Remarks

Saturday June 23, departing from The Elder Park Landing at 1:30pm.

If ever you’ve felt the urge to recreate Henri Matisse’s ‘Olive Trees at Collioure’ with wine in hand on board The Popeye, now is your time.

Studio Vino are leading a wine-fuelled painting session aboard the Popeye this Saturday afternoon (there will be heaters).

No painting experience necessary, as an experienced local artist will lead all step-by-step through the process. Canvas, paint and brushes will be provided too.

Light snacks will be provided, with more available for sale on the day. Prohibition gin and tonics, Pikes beer, Battle of Bosworth organic wines, Hills Cider Co. ciders and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from the bar to keep the creative juices flowing.

Departing The Elder Park Landing at 1:30pm, artists/drinkers will travel along the Torrens River, and be back by 4pm.

Tickets are $65 and can be purchased here. Seating is limited, so it is advised you get in quickly.
