Name a more iconic Adelaide institution than The Mars Bar.

But The Mars Bar is iconic nonetheless.

The club as we know it is coming to an end. It’s changing to become something else – an upgrade, if you will.

The bar will say goodbye to its old owners in a send up (“ROCHELLE IS PLANNING A MASSIVE SHOW”) this Saturday that will include past and present staff, perhaps the original Mars Bar show cast and DJs, special guests and a wide open kitchen bar.

The new Mars Bar will look different (rennos are happening in the next few weeks), feel different, and have a shiny new name (that will be revealed on Saturday night).
