Good Dogs!
Just as all dogs are good dogs, all dog art is inarguably good art.
Good Dogs! opening night is happening Thursday, 9 August from 6pm to 9pm at Salem Café, Shop 2, 647 Marion Road, Ascot Park.
In an exhibition expertly targeted towards CityMag’s interests, photographer Daniel Purvis and painter Lou Vodic have teamed up for Good Dogs! – a series of portraits of our best friends, confidants, and the entire human race’s collective better half.
The portraits will feature such emerging dog modelling talent as Hank the Handsome, Leo the Salty and Sunny the Dumpling.
Appearing as part of SALA 2018, Good Dogs! will run from 9 August until 7 September at Salem Café, a dog-friendly and vegan-friendly eatery in Ascot Park, and in addition to being bloody spectacular viewing, 25 per cent of all sales from the exhibition will be donated to an soon-to-be-announced animal welfare organisation.
Opening night will happen on Thursday, 9 August from 6pm to 9pm at Salem Café, Shop 2, 647 Marion Road, Ascot Park. Nibbles will be provided by Salem, beer and wine will be provided by exhibition sponsors, Little Bang Brewing and Vanguardist Wines.
