Program
From a come and try protecting native bushland, to making natural inks for drawing and printing, to a wicking bed workshop – there’s a diverse range of activities to bring you closer to nature.
For those craving a sense of awe, the night walk to see microbats or a performance from songstress Siobhan Owen in a pristine candlebark forest are among the many events that should tick this box.
The program includes many opportunities to learn from First Nations people about their knowledge of the land, spiritual connection to Country and deep cultural heritage.
Among them is a cultural walk & talk with Ngarrindjeri/Ramindjeri elder Mark Koolmatrie in Deep Creek National Park, a Kaurna language workshop with Jack Buckskin and a weaving workshop and morning tea with female Elders.
