Tickets and more info

Hosted at immersive tech, arts and hospitality hub Light ADL and staged amongst 150sqm of LED screens, Torrent comes to life through spoken word by Yankunytjatjara, Kokatha poet Ali Cobby Eckermann, an original score by British electronic music duo Yard Nule and live dance choreographed by Lewis Major using XR, motion capture and game engine technology to create a truly unique experience.

Created by award-winning UK studio Megaverse as part of Electric Dreams, Torrent is a stunning immersive experience that beams live performers into a spectacular digital world that vividly illustrates the complex and urgent fight to reshape our relationship with water – a life giving but destructive force.

Head West and explore Adelaide’s newest immersive bar, gallery and studio, The Light Room, with bespoke cocktails and bar snacks available to enjoy before and after the show.

Described by critics as “an intimate conversation between dance, poetry, music and technology that’s well worth eavesdropping on” Torrent is a must-see for all audiences this Fringe season.

After a month-long residency, the award-winning season is set to close this weekend with final performances this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.
