Format All Weekend
Format is doing a lot of things in these coming weeks. More details of at least some of those things can be found here.
Format has entered its final fortnight at the Hindley Street space, and they’ve got a tonne of events on to countdown to final days.
This Friday [October 27] at 3pm, Brad Cameron will lead his annual walking tour of Adelaide, starting out front of Format and running for between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.
This will be followed at 5pm by Will Deacon’s Quiz, or as it’s described by the Format crew: a “desecration of the rules and traditions of Pub Trivia”. The price is $40 per table, and the prizes are “legit”.
On Saturday [October 28] from 7pm, the Adelaide School of Art will host a Halloween party (start at Format and finish at Sugar for double the Halloween vibes), featuring live music from Mother and Magus and Aussie Rules, and a performance-based DJ set from Grace Marlow and Douglas Maxted Jnr. Tix are $10 on the door.
And finally, on Sunday [October 29] from 5pm, Francesca da Rimini and Virginia Barratt will present Interruptions, Iterations, Imitations and Peregrinations, an original performance art piece making use of some of the more unusual parts of Format Systems.
Format for days!
