Fork Awakens

  • Words: Johnny von Einem

Daylight saving is almost over, which means days are getting shorter and our primal instincts are taking over, telling us to gorge before winter’s darkness descends and hibernation begins (for some).

Remarks

Fork Awakens runs Friday, 1 April form 5pm til 10pm in Light Square, Adelaide.

For our feasting convenience, Fork on the Road is bringing the crème of Adelaide’s mobile food vendors and craft brewers together once again for Fork Awakens.

Among the 28 usual suspects, Burger Theory, Chimichurri Grill, Cheesy Street, The Little Cake Tin, Moorish Bites, Tacocat, The Rolling Pizza Oven, Phat Buddha Rolls, and Wiener Bago will all be serving the goods, ready to be paired with brews courtesy of Smiling Samoyed Brewery, Big Shed Brewing Concern, Wheatsheaf Hotel Brewing, Mismatch Brewing Company, Clare Valley Brewing Company, Pirate Life Brewing, Vale Brewing, Prancing Pony Brewery and Grumpy’s Brewhaus.

If none of that whets your whistle, tunes will be taken care of by Fresh, and the Southern Dewback Garrison – 501st Legion will be duking it out, lightsabers in hand.
