As the Adelaide mornings continue to get colder and darker, our desire for capping off the working week with a warming wine is ratcheting up.

We must have set The Fruitful Pursuit’s thirst sensors off, because the wine events company is hosting a cosy get together at The Olivia this Friday night.

Fire and Wine kicks off at 5pm at the Hutt Street bar, and will feature new autumn-release wines from Adlib, Camwell, Defialy, Lust for Life, Harrison and The Mysterious Mr Black.

There will also be some recent-release wines from New Zealand-based A Thousand Gods, plus there are more to be announced.

As for the fire portion of the evening, Peruvian pop-up Si Papi will be chargrilling snacks out front, and The Olivia might also stoke its fireplace.

Tickets are $30 and will get you a Fruitful Pursuit glass to take home, as many wine tastings as you can responsibly sip from said glass between 5—8pm, and one delicious morsel from Si Papi.
