Dads love the pub.

It is a well-known and scientifically established fact (we assume) that if you get any Dad in a front bar with a counter meal and a pint, and you’ve got yourself one very happy chappy.

Dads, generally, also hate telling you what they might like for Father’s Day.

“Don’t get me anything,” they cry in chorus, while playing down our collective efforts to make a fuss for their special day.

This year, take them at their word by scooping your Dad, or a Dad you know well enough to celebrate, into the passenger seat of your car, driving them to your local, and treating them to the ambience and culinary flair they love most.
