Fashion’s Future: A Tafe SA Student Showcase
This Saturday, students of both the Advanced Diploma of Fashion Design offered by TAFE SA, and the new Bachelor of Creative Arts (Fashion) offered collaboratively by TAFE SA and Flinders University, will showcase their graduate collections.
Fashion’s Future: A Tafe SA Student Showcase will take place on Saturday (22 October) from 11.30am at the Adelaide Fashion Festival Runway – Victoria Square / Tarntanyangga. Premium tickets are available online, though the 3rd row is free to the public.
Though presented by TAFE SA, the graduate show will be part of this year’s Adelaide Fashion Festival at the AFF Runway on Victoria Square/ Tarndanyangga.
Finalists and the winner of the Premier’s Design Award will also showcase their designs as part of the event. The winner of this program, which is offered to TAFE SA fashion students, will receive a 12 month industry mentoring program. Last year’s winner was Sophia McMahon, who will be launching her new label, Autark, at the Adelaide Fashion Festival’s sold out event Runway 3: Ready To Wear.
