Ebenezer Night Markets
Ebenezer Place, perhaps like all streets, feels different at night. You might frequent this tucked away East End nook for a variety of things during normal hours: coffee, burgers, fancy Belgian beer served in goblet-like glasses. But come Friday nights in summer, you’ll walk past all these familiar sights yet somehow still feel a little lost.
The Ebenezer Night Markets are on every Friday from December 4, 2015 to March 18, 2016 at Ebenezer Place, Adelaide. It runs from 5:30pm to 10:30pm.
The normally spacious street becomes a maze of stalls and food vendors. There are ridiculous chocolate treats you’d never believe were vegan, racks on racks of vintage clothing, and more cacti than Instagram could shake a uniquely crafted concrete pot at. If live music is your jam (and clearly it is, come on) then rejoice – there always seems to be a local DJ playing serenely in the background.
If you’re not too full already from gorging yourself on veggie burgers, you’ll find yourself conveniently surrounded by some of the best bars and restaurants this side of Rundle Mall. Take a stroll, have a gander, then reward your hard work with food and wine afterwards. Or alternatively, reward yourself with food and wine regardless of whether you’ve worked hard or not. It’s unlikely that anyone here will judge you.
