Australian writer Dora Abraham and director Zola Allen present Cold Hands, a mythical take on a future that is all too real.
Set in an imagined future where the land is reaped of gold, the play follows the journey of a mother, a sick girl who can turn things into gold, and a nomadic hunter who has connections to the land in way of language. Cold Hands portrays survival, sacrifice, and the destruction of nature.
The play is an intimate and immersive experience, with the audience shown characters who relearn the ways of the world and how humans connect through language, and most importantly, their impact.
