Adelaide Contemporary Experimental (ACE) has opened applications for its annual contemporary art award.

The Porter Street Commission supports the creation of a major new artwork by a South Australian artist at any stage of their career.

The selected artist will receive $20,000 for the purpose of producing an ambitious new work to be presented in a solo exhibition as part of ACE’s 2025 program.

Previous winners of the non-acquisitive prize have included Kaspar Schmidt Mumm, Allison Chhorn and Lee Salomone.
