Barry Humphries makes his debut as the artistic director of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival with a program he hopes will “excite and titillate”.

The largest cabaret festival in the world, this year’s instalment sess the usual array of feather boas, sexy singers and glitz joined by a strong comedy component that befits Barry Humphries’ background. He’s also focussed on bringing in plenty of local acts alongside the international and national stars that will present 18 world premieres, six Australian premieres, 15 Adelaide premieres and six Adelaide exclusives that make up the program.
