Boucle de Burbs

Remarks

Boucle de Burbs happens this Sunday, August 30. If you don’t already have a ticket there are still a few available from Treadly Bike Shop. Rider registration opens at 11am on Sunday by the Bonython Park Pond.

Treadly Bike Shop’s Sam Neeft is once again putting his all into creating a delightful Sunday bike ride and event for us to enjoy.

The (deservedly) ever-more popular Boucle de Burbs is a tour of Adelaide’s suburbs that takes in some little known alleys, paths and routes to form a 40km course of leisurely pedalling. Those not feeling quite up to the full course can stop anytime – there’s no shame in having a good time and quitting while you’re ahead.

Not meant as a race, cyclists are encouraged to take their time by exploring cafes and shops along the route before converging at a final destination for the announcement of prize winners and a few good beers.

The course remains a mystery until registration. Riders receive their maps and rider packs when registering with Sam from 11am this Sunday (August 30) at Bonython Park Pond. There aren’t many tickets left, but a few are still available in store at Treadly – so get on your bike and sort yourself out.
