The lads behind Barossa-based winery Hey Diddle are popping up at Thebarton’s most beautiful eatery, Bloom, for a collab wine and barbecue feast.

Happening on Thursday, 9 December, former footballers Tom Jonas and Brad Ebert and their Hey Diddle winemaker partner Ben Chipman will sling wines and talk shop at the Winwood Street café, while the Bloom kitchen team will prepare a three-hour feats over their outdoor charcoal grill.

The Hey Diddle gents plan to give punters insight into the grape varieties they use, as well as their modern winemaking techniques.

To you, dear reader, this is an opportunity to start your Christmas celebrations nice and early in December. It’s been a long year. You’ve earned it.
