Barossa Gourmet Weekend
The Barossa Gourmet Weekend happens September 2, 3 and 4 across the Barossa. See the website for details of specific events.
Being that Spring is now officially here, we can only assume that this weekend is going to be characterised by perfect weather, blue skies and bird song. All that happens to coincide with the Barossa Gourmet Weekend.
Taken together, those two things seem like an instruction to not spend any time in your house this Saturday and Sunday.
Bringing together the best of the region’s food and drink scene, The Barossa Gourmet Weekend takes two forms. The first is the Gourmet Trail. Incorporating 14 free events across Saturday and Sunday – from Lindsay Wine Estate’s Poh, Pizza and Paella to a Father’s Day Brekfast in The Shed at Peter Lehmann Wines – the Trail is designed so you can drop in at one event after the other. There’s a shuttle bus to help you do that even.
The second section, Gourmet Discovery, is a series of special events occurring over Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These masterclasses, tastings, degustations, matchings, trails and talks are ticketed and limited, and highly likely to be selling fast.
