Tomorrow is the first Friday of the month, which means – unsurprisingly – that the Art Gallery of SA will once again be throwing one of their First Fridays parties.

This time around the theme is Great Tales in Asian Art and the event marks the start of a whole month dedicated to the celebration of Asian art and culture at the North Terrace institution.

On the night, you can hear from Associate curator of Asian Art, Russell Kelty as he talks through the Great Tales in Asian Art display, feel the vibrations of Japanese drumming group Matsuri Taiko, then join an open workshop to create the sounds yourself. And, of course, there will be plenty of food and drink too.
