Alliance Française French Film Festival 2023

Tickets and more info

This year’s festival is showcasing 39 French films, with one highlight being Louis Garrel’s The Innocent – a comedy-drama in which a marine biologist learns his mother is dating a convict.

For those searching for a more profound filmic experience, Cedric Jiminez’s November recounts the horrific terrorist attacks on Paris in 2015. Starring Academy Award winner Jean Dujardin, the film blends thriller genre tropes with a reverential approach to the atrocities of the November 13 attacks.

The festival runs until 19 April, and with such a wide variety of films on offer there is bound to be an experience to suit everyone.
