This Saturday, the Islamic Society of SA are hosting their third Al Salam Festival – a free all-day event that encourages people of all cultures and religions to celebrate multiculturalism in Australia and the religion of Islam.

With a program packed full of panel discussions, vocal and choir performances, story time, poetry slam, prayer performances and more, the main stage will scarcely be empty. Outside of that, the festival will play host to a market of traditional food, craft, art and hand-made goods, and an art exhibition.
