“Adhocracy is Vitalstatistix’s annual national hothouse, supporting the creative development and critical discussion of experimental, multidisciplinary arts projects.
This year’s program features thirteen incredible Australian creative teams whose projects and new works-in-development span choreography and dance, performance and live art, social practice, theatre, sound and visual art.
Waterside Workers Hall & Hart’s Mill
11 Nile St, Port Adelaide, Kaurna Yerta
As is always the case at Adhocracy, these artists and their works are speaking powerfully to the times we are in. Wide-ranging themes including climate and capitalism, de/colonialism, autobiography and identity, queerness, political histories, listening, grief, class and the arts, speculative futures, practices of care – and riffs off many other areas of enquiry!
Adhocracy is a unique offering in the Australian arts calendar – as a creative development opportunity for artists and as an insight into artistic process for lovers of art. It’s a festival of ideas meets intense art camp meets magic house party.
Check out the daily schedule that starts from 3pm each day and get amongst some of Australia’s most exciting established and emerging makers of Australian contemporary culture, art, performance, and commentary.”
