Adelaide Vigil in Memory of Eurydice Dixon
The candle light vigil takes place at the Rotunda in Elder Park on Festival Drive 5pm-7pm tonight (June 18). Wear lots of warm clothes, bring your own candles, and find the crowd by entering from King William Street as there are construction works in other parts of the park.

The rape and murder of Eurydice Dixon last week is another terrible reminder that sexual violence, gendered violence, and predation toward women continue to be part of everyday life.
An Adelaide vigil to honour Eurydice and to stand against these forms of violence is being held tonight to coincide with vigils in Melbourne and Sydney.
All are welcome to join the vigil and to stand together to send the message that it is not the responsibility of women to keep themselves safe, but the responsibility of men to choose not to inflict violence upon women.
