Dine-for-good startup Share, which launched earlier this year, is holding a fundraiser lunch this weekend, Sunday, 8 November, at Murdoch Hill Wines in Oakbank.

The concept behind Share is for South Australia’s top culinary talents to prepare meals made from rescued food, plated up for patrons who can pay any price for the meal based on what they can afford, or what they think the meal is worth.

The events make quality fare available to those without the means to pay for them, and allows those with some funds to kick in enough money to keep the concept rolling.

The Share Summer Fundraiser event will see Share’s Kate Richards and Joel Tisato team up with Boston Bay Smallgoods’ Jason Stephenson, OzHarvest, and chefs from Shakermaker Foods prepare a five-course luncheon at Murdoch Hill Wines, with the ticket price garnering you access to the food and matched wines, as well as a bus running to and from the event, with pick up in the CBD.

There will also be deejays on hand all day, giving you ample opportunity to dance while seated.
